We are seeking a Senior Linux Automation Engineer, preferably with a macOS background. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who will take complete ownership of automation projects for Endpoint Security product releases. You will design and build robust automation frameworks and tests, collaborate closely with R&D, and play a key role in delivering high-quality software to customers. If you have strong Linux automation skills, proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, and a passion for creating reliable automated solutions, this is the right opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
>/ End to End project ownership on Customer Releases for Endpoint Security products.
>/ Developing automation frameworks from bottom up.
>/ Developing automation tests to cover new product features.
>/ Review system requirements and build various virtual setups.
>/ Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
>/ Participate in design meetings with R&D to learn new features.
>/ Define, and document a comprehensive and well-structured test plan for the new features.
>/ Estimate testing activities and execute test cases.
>/ Identify and document various software and hardware bugs, and track their status.
>/ Write release testing status reports.
>/ Guiding customers on feature usage and contribute to documentation of new features.
Requirements
>/ 3+ years of relevant experience in Linux automation (mandatory).
>/ Experience with Python programming (mandatory).
>/ Experience with Bash script programming (mandatory).
>/ Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and public cloud concepts in general.
>/ Experience with Linux and macOS testing and automation (strong advantage).
>/ Ability to configure product and networking configuration.
>/ Familiarity with GitHub/Gitlab/Jira.
>/ Understanding of virtualization solutions such as VMWare.

>/ A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
>/ Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
