We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior macOS Engineer to help build a next-generation OS-level agent that protects AI-driven workflows across devices, browsers, and cloud environments. You’ll work alongside OS specialists, cloud engineers, and AI teams to design core macOS components and solve complex system-level challenges at scale. Responsibilities
>/ Lead development of macOS agent components, including proxy services, MCP layers, kernel/system extensions, and installers.
>/ Design advanced telemetry pipelines and behavioral hooks to support AI-driven insights.
>/ Ensure full feature parity and seamless interoperability with the Windows agent.
>/ Implement secure communication layers and anti-tampering capabilities.
>/ Set architectural direction and mentor engineers engaged in cross-platform agent development.
Requirements
>/ 8+ years of macOS development experience (Objective-C, Swift, C/C++).
>/ Deep understanding of macOS internals (KEXTs, DriverKit, security frameworks).
>/ Proven record in system-level or secure agent development.
>/ Strong debugging and performance optimization skills (LLDB, Instruments).
>/ Advantage: experience building security or telemetry-focused agent products.
Nice to Have
>/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
>/ Experience with system hardening, sandboxing, or secure boot mechanisms.
>/ Familiarity with telemetry pipelines, event processing, or behavioral analytics.
>/ Exposure to cross-platform agent design or Windows/macOS parity work.
